Derek Seaman

Hi, I’m Derek Seaman, and I’m proud to continue the legacy of Seaman & Sons, a company my grandfather founded back in 1954. Growing up, my earliest memories are working alongside my father and grandfather—whether helping clean up job sites, assisting with cabinet installations, or sharpening tools in the shop. It was this foundation that instilled my love for building and inspired me to pursue a degree in business before officially joining the family trade.
What sets our company apart is our unwavering commitment to quality and attention to detail. Over the years, we’ve adapted and grown, incorporating the latest in building science to create homes that are not only beautiful but energy-efficient and environmentally responsible.

As President of the Grey Bruce Home Builders Association and a member of the CHBA’s Net Zero Building Council, I stay at the forefront of modern construction techniques, ensuring that every home we build is comfortable, sustainable, and built to last.
Outside of work, I love spending time with my wife, two sons, and our golden retriever, whether it’s at our family cottage, boating, or exploring the great outdoors. Let’s build your dream home together and create a space that will be cherished for generations.

Hi, I’m Mark Wallace, General Manager at Seaman and Sons Builders. I’ve been part of the team since 2006, starting as a carpenter before transitioning into leadership. With a focus on quality and detail, I’m passionate about building custom homes that exceed expectations. Outside of work, I enjoy golfing, spending time on the lake, and appreciating the beauty of our community.

Hi, I’m Zack Jones, Project Manager at Seaman and Sons Builders. With nearly 20 years of experience in residential construction, I take pride in helping clients bring their dream homes and cottages to life. Living in Southampton has been one of my best decisions, and I love working in this beautiful area.

Hi, I’m Ken Dolbeck, Office Manager at Seaman and Sons Builders. I joined the team in 2019, bringing a background in business and a passion for organization. My role ensures projects run smoothly, from bookkeeping to team coordination. Outside of work, I enjoy traveling, cheering on the Montreal Canadiens, and exploring new opportunities for growth.

Having grown up near Saugeen Shores, I’m proud to build here. In my free time, I love spending summers with my family at our cottage in Oliphant.
